Surfside labs have been participating in pet therapy visits for over 7 years providing companionship and education within the Martin County Community. My labs are certified by Therapy Dogs Inc. Doing therapy work with them is a rewarding situation. The people young and old love, seeing and touching the dogs, the dogs love all the attention and it always feels wonderful to share such great loving companions and friends. We visit nursing homes assisted living facilities and provide grade schools with programs in education (Paws to Read Programs) safety and lessons in kindness. These wonderful school programs are provided thru the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast which I have been volunteering for many years and have many hours of community service with my labs in the schools.
